This is the largest FedEx building in SoCal with 550,000 sf in an 80-acre site. D&D staff were instrumental on the Entitlement of this project and preparing the civil engineering onsite and offsite construction documents. The building is completed and offsite improvements including a 120” storm drain line, are also done.
As part of the scope, D&D prepared an addendum to city of Chino Master Drainage Study, which included city of Ontario’s 120” storm drain infrastructure as well. The property developed was part of San Bernardino County and Chino Airport, which required D&D staff to coordinate with both agencies during the entitlement and construction.

Over one million square feet industrial development which D&D staff assisted during the EIR process and finished the Construction Documents and assisted in Construction Administration for 3 buildings and a standalone Fedex site and building.
D&D staff had to think outside the box to come up with a water quality and flood control detention solution that saved the client from having to go through an Army Corps permitting process and saved millions by not drilling a tunnel under the embankment to connect to the existing channel for drainage, which was originally designed and proposed with previous engineer.
